Dr. Roya Zandparsa is the CEO and Founder of Expert Dental Advisory, a Professor and Biomaterials Course Director at the Department of Prosthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and the President of American Academy of Dental Science. She received her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and MSc in Biomaterials & Biomimetics and Certificate in Prosthodontics from New York University Graduate School of Arts and Science and New York University College of Dentistry, respectively.
She completed fellowships in Implant Dentistry from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and in Academic Leadership from American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Leadership Institute. She has obtained certificates in Advanced Surgical Implant Dentistry, Invisalign, 6 Month Smiles, Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economics from Harvard Business School, and a certificate in The Iterative Innovation Process from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In addition to all her teaching responsibilities, she has served as the Chair of Strategic Planning Steering Committee at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, and currently serving as an Educational Consultant for few dental companies and as an Advisor and committee member for several different organizations.
She has contributed to numerous research areas in dental technologies, dental implants, Dental Biomaterials, which resulted in many published articles and book chapters. She has been lecturing and presenting both nationally and internationally and reviewing manuscripts for several journals. She is a guest editor of MDPI (An Open Access Online Journal) and obtained numerous awards during her academic career for being an outstanding scholar & clinician and Deans’ Awards for Excellence in clinical teaching.
